Sunday Waffle Recipe

Le chocolat, c’est du bonheur comestible!

At least that's what I think. No matter how it's prepared, no matter how it's incorporated into a recipe, your taste buds are sure to be satisfied. So, here we are, in the desire to bring a little happiness to your day, I had the idea of coming up with a delicious waffle recipe that is sure to please your guests. As simple as that, it is the ideal accompaniment to berries and your favourite spread. You'll see, these waffles will transport you to another universe, a succulent and chocolatey universe!

Chocolate Waffles

  • One and a half cups of gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • Two tablespoons cornstarch
  • One tablespoon of baking powder
  • One tablespoon of brown sugar
  • Two tablespoons of dark chocolate powder
  • One cup of silk soy milk
  • Two egg substitutes
  • Half a cup of becel margarine with olive oil, melted
  • One third of a cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Steps to follow:
Mix all the dry ingredients together, then add two egg substitutes, the equivalent of two eggs, and stir in the soy milk. Add the margarine to the mixture, making sure that it remains homogeneous and finalize the recipe by incorporating the chocolate chips. Bake in a waffle iron for two to three minutes.

I strongly suggest serving it with seasonal fruit, chocolate coulis or maple syrup, a combination that is well worth it.

So, that was my recipe for homemade chocolate wafer! I hope you will enjoy it and don't hesitate to send me your comments.
